Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Kottaram founded the Congregation of Seva Missionary Sisters Of Mary in the year 1974 in the Arch Diocese of Madras Mylapore. The Congregation grew very fast with its inspiring charism attracting young women who wished to live a dedicated life. The Charism of the Congregation is to evangelize the world by making Christ known and loved wherever He is not known. We serve God’s people through zealous missionary activities such as Education, Medical, Socio- Pastoral, Care of Senior Citizens, Family Apostolate and other ministries as per the need of the hour.
Divine Mercy Snehalaya (DMS), established in the year 2021 envisages an adorable residence in the lap of natural serenity for the senior citizens with the best and modern day amenities and dedicated residential services to make life after 50 years stress –free and enlivening. The management is very keen on creating a conducive residential environment with impeccable infrastructural facilities like spacious living room, pharmacy, frequent medical check-up, library, Prayer hall, Television hall are brought within the community so that the residence need not commute long distance in search of them.
